Star Strong Capital has provided growth funding to Positron Voyager, an innovator at the forefront of the cinematic virtual reality (VR) entertainment industry. California-based VR company Positron created the world’s first Voyager™ pod chair, featuring proprietary motion control haptics, customizable LED cabin lighting, and even scent, for a fully immersive cinematic virtual reality experience. The custom chair pods are deployed to entertainment venues worldwide including museums, theaters, tourist attractions, cruise ships and malls. Positron produces original VR content, and has also partnered with Universal Studios, Disney, Walmart, Verizon and leading VR studios for custom VR content.
Positron will use the capital to add staff and deploy new technology developments in response to increasing demand from cultural and entertainment venues worldwide.
