Positron is a technology company whose mission is to deliver an immersive media experience utilizing cinematic virtual reality (VR).

As a company, we collaborate with content creators from the major cinematic studios such as Disney, DreamWorks Animation, Technicolor, and Universal Studios to deliver licensed content in virtual reality theaters around the world.

To enable storytelling in virtual reality, Positron developed a technology platform called Voyager®. Voyager is a full-motion chair platform designed for cinematic virtual reality that incorporates motorized yaw and pitch motion, haptic feedback, scent technology, and specialized seating.

 

Privacy Scope

Our privacy policy applies to all persons that contact Position using electronic media, whether via the phone, this website, social media properties such as Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook, and interact with any advertising.

If you utilize Positron technologies such as the Voyager® chair at a local cinema, hotel, conference, concert, or special event, it is essential to note that in most instances, your privacy will be managed by that facility or venue. As such, you should contact that facility or venue regarding their privacy policies while utilizing Positron technologies.

 

Information We Collect & How We Use It

If you contact Positron by any means (e.g. phone, email, messaging, fax, letter), we collect the information you provide (e.g., name, phone number) to help respond to your inquiry. Additionally, when you contact Position via our website, social media properties, or email, we also collect data (e.g., IP address, device type) about all the visitors using tools such as Google Analytics and analytics tools provided by social media providers.

The interactions to the Positron website and social media properties are tracked by placing a “cookie” on your device (e.g., computer, tablet, mobile phone) to help personalize your experience.

As a business we do share your personal information with other companies who perform services on our behalf and companies affiliated with Positron. We do not authorize these third-party companies to use or disclose this information except to perform these tasks or legal obligations.

From time-to-time, we may also disclose information about you without your consent when: a) required by law, b) requested by the government, c) an investigation of an illegal activity, and c) exercising or defending our legal rights.

Our website uses features provided by the Vimeo video portal. This service is provided by Vimeo Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA.
